Diploma Engineers formed human chain in the Capital
The country's diploma engineers have staged a human chain in front of the National Press Club demanding 3 points to solve professional problems. Hundreds of engineers participated in the rally on Wednesday afternoon under the banner of Institution of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh (IDEB).
Fazlur Rahman Khan, Khandkar Muinur Rahman, Organizing Editor Sheikh Nabib Ali, joint secretary of the organization, were present on the human chain led by IDAB President AKM Hamid and General Secretary Shamsur Rahman.
According to prime minister Sheikh Hasina's promise to human chain, the diploma engineers' professional problems are being solved and the newly released Bangladesh National Building Code 2021 is claimed to be hostage to the people. IDEB leaders called upon the government to rectify the incompatibility created in this regard and solve the problems in technical and vocational education.
